Pioneering progress: DaCapo consortium’s meeting in Trollhättan

By Eleni Natsi, CORE Group

Face-to-face meetings are special because they offer a unique opportunity for individuals to come together, share ideas, and build strong connections. This was the essence of our 18-month consortium meeting held in Trollhättan, Sweden, from June 19th to 20th, organized by GKN Aerospace.

Over two action-packed days, consortium partners engaged in captivating presentations, interactive discussions, activities, and workshops, all while meticulously planning the next steps for our project.

On the first day, various work packages were presented, culminating in a visit to GKN’s premises and a social dinner in Trollhättan. This setting provided the perfect environment for partners to socialize and network in a relaxed, cozy atmosphere.

The second day, besides the discussion of various work packages, focused on the presentation of the use cases and included an interactive final round table about DaCapo’s future perspectives.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to GKN Aerospace for their warm hospitality and exceptional management of the meeting.

Stay tuned for more updates on the groundbreaking DaCapo project as we pave the way for digital and circular European manufacturing!
